My youngest daughter turned six last week (*sniff* – where does the time go?!!), and she wanted to have a Frozen (the movie) party. Since the actual DVD released today, we put off her party until later this week. I had a great time searching Pinterest and the web to find some fun ideas for a Frozen Movie Party!
We’ve done quite a few snow and snowman related activities in the past, so I may incorporate some of those in addition to these fun ideas for a Frozen party:
This is my favorite cake (and the one I’m attempting to make for the party)! You can find the directions for this Frozen birthday cake tutorial over at Fun Finds for Families. I’m not sure how excited Hannah will be about the black licorice arms, but I know she’ll love the cake and oreos!
I’ve printed out some of these Frozen Movie Printables including Frozen Build a Snowman Printable, Frozen Maze, Frozen Snowflake Maze, Frozen Memory Card Game, Frozen Olaf Maze, and Frozen Anna and Elsa Coloring Page. These are from Disney Online. I thought they would work well as simple activities for the girls (and our one boy!) to do when they first arrive at our home for the Frozen party.
I’m planning to set out some coffee filters to make snowflakes, too. I’ll share those if they turn out well…
I don’t know if I’ll get this made in time, but this Snowman Game Printable from The Activity Mom has several ways to play. I think a Pin-the-Nose on the Snowman or something like that would be fun, too!
Here are a few Free Frozen Party Printables from Homeketeers that could be used at a Frozen party. She has an invitation, treat bag toppers, garland, cupcake toppers, and more.
With all the other printables, we probably won’t need another, but I thought it was cute. You can print this Free Frozen Movie Coloring Page from Random House.
These Frozen movie printable bookmarks might be a fun party favor (or I may just use some stickers I got from the Faith that Sticks line from Tyndale. They aren’t Frozen-themed, but all kids love a package of stickers, right?!!). I did see some cute snowflake stickers, but I can’t get them here in time!
If you want even more activities, Events to Celebrate has some awesome Frozen Birthday Party ideas!
Do you have any ideas for a Frozen Birthday Party?

Thank you so much for including my cake! Happy birthday to Hannah and I hope she has a great party! Our copy of Frozen just arrived yesterday and we can’t wait for our next movie night. I’ll have to download some of these printables for the kids to have fun with until then.

These are absolutely fabulous ideas but I have to add one more. I just had a Frozen party for my 5 year old Hannah. We invited character lookalikes Elsa and Anna from a company out of Atlanta called Look alikes and Characters Entertainment!
I was THRILLED with their Elsa and Anna lookalikes! I felt we stepped right into the movie these girls were so gorgeous and perfect! My daughter Hannah thought they were the real deal. I was so impressed with the performances of these girls as The Snow Queen and Princess from the movie Frozen! Elsa came out first and performed Let it Go! Then Anna came out with Elsa and together they performed For the First Time in Forever. I loved the themed games and activities! They even invited the girls to come up and sing Let it Go from the movie Frozen with microphone and music. I would definitely recommend this company especially Elsa and Anna look alikes!

I am planning a Frozen party for my daughter and decided we would build ice castles. I am freezing a bunch of “ice bricks” in small plastic containers and letting the kids make castles out of them outside that day.
