Preschool Basics: Play-Doh Name Puzzle

I first saw this idea over at Ready.  Set.  Read!  It is such a wonderful, tactile activity for learning names!

Supplies:

Play-Doh

Letter cookie cutters

1)  Roll out the dough.  Spell your child’s name with cookie cutters.

2)  Cut out the letters.  Carefully remove them.

3)  Put the letters back to complete the “puzzle”.
