One of the hardest meals for our family as I’ve been eating Paleo and they’ve been eating gluten-free is breakfast. I’ve spent 30+ years thinking that breakfast = cereal. Plus, it’s easy that way!
The biggest help for me has been to think Protein + Fat = Breakfast. I eat all kinds of things for breakfast now…salads, veggies of all kinds, and lots of eggs. The girls still aren’t convinced by my salad breakfasts, so I try to make things they enjoy for breakfast, too!

This was so helpful! My kids like Paleo Mom’s Perfect Paleo Pancakes (plaintains) with berry sauce or breakfast meat along side finely chopped apples sauteed in coconut oil with cinnamon & turmeric.

I am about to start eating lower carb again and “Paleo” generally fits into that square for me. So thank you for this! I tend to get stuck in eating ruts and that’s when I go back to donuts, LOL

Yeah…I’m still wanting to find a Paleo-fied donut recipe. There is one…but it looks complicated and time-consuming!
