Now that I have my weekly schedule in my home management binder, it feels complete to me (I’m all about making it simple)! But, I have a few more printables to share in case you’d like to add a few more items to your own binder.
The next printable is a chore chart schedule. It includes room for those chores you only do occasionally — weekly, monthly, and annual chores. Just fill in the chores, slip it into a page protector, and mark off the chores as you finish them. It’s nice to have a guide sometimes for the chores you might forget about (purposefully in my case)!
I’m not sure how much I will actually use this because I have all of my chores in my Motivated Mom’s planner, but I might add some that aren’t included in the planner.
By no means is this an exhaustive list, but here are a few ideas for chores for the chart:
- Vacuum/sweep all floors.
- Mop floors.
- Clean door handles.
- Wipe down the outside of cupboards.
- Wipe down appliances.
- Change sheets.
- Scrub toilets and shower/bathtubs.
- Clean lightswitch plates.
- Clean garage.
- Vacuum furniture.
- Move furniture and vacuum under it.
- Clean baseboards and molding.
- Clean ceiling fans.
- Clean and disinfect wastebaskets.
- Clean and vacuum automobiles.
- Clean the oven (semi-annual).
- Wash draperies (semi-annual).
- Declutter whole house.
- Wash walls.
- Clean carpets.
- Clean pantry and cabinets (semi-annual).
