I was feeling frazzled.
I have thousands of post ideas in my head for Motherhood on a Dime and my other blog, but I just can’t seem to find time to get them written and posted.
I was feeling like a failure.
Looking through some of the other AMAZING deal blogs and craft blogs and other blogs I like to read, I wondered how in the world they find time to make them so beautiful, wonderful, and filled with great content!
Then, this post from Simple Mom about working at home showed up in my inbox.
And I felt relief.
In fact, I felt encouraged.
I was encouraged to see and be reminded that those amazing bloggers out there have help!! They don’t do it all themselves…and that’s okay. It’s more than okay!
I hope you’ll be encouraged by the post as well. Maybe you’re a beginning blogger wondering how other bloggers make it seem so effortless! Maybe you read a lot of blogs and feel discouraged by how together and perfect some bloggers seem! Maybe you’re a mom with too much on your plate, but you think it’s a sign of weakness (or failure) to let some things go.
It’s okay.
You don’t have to do it all. You can’t do it all. You shouldn’t do it all.

I know I loved the post! It really got me thinking about how an au pair would fit my lifestyle. I WAH and plan to homeschool too. Being at home is so important to my family that if I choose a childcare option it should be one that can be done in my home! An au pair would bring the outside world to my kids in our home and at the same time we would be teaching our culture to the newest member of our family, cause that’s what an au pair is a member of your family.

Thank you so much for sharing that post with me. I teared up as I read it.
My floor hasn’t been mopped in weeks. It’s something that has been stressing me out, but nowadays it’s just so low on the priority list.

Oh, no…I didn’t mean to make you cry!!
I’ll let you in on a secret — mine hasn’t been mopped in weeks either (well, the spot where the milk was spilled did get a quick once over)!! We just do the best we can — and the floor isn’t the priority!!
I have been clearing out a lot of clutter though, so it’s giving me incentive to clean — there isn’t so much stuff to have to clean now, so it’s getting easier!!
Hope you have a blessed day! 🙂
