When my oldest daughter was a baby, I took a sign language for babies class by Anne Meeker Miller (she has a great program called Sing & Sign).  I went on to teach a few classes through our local recreation center, and I loved it!  I found sign language to be so helpful — especially in teaching manners.  I think all three of my girls continued to sign “please” for a long time (even after they could say it)!

Because I am a huge believer in the benefits of sign language for babies and toddlers, I’m so excited to share the website Baby Sign Language with you!  I love that it is entirely FREE and includes a video dictionary, printable flashcards, and a printable wall-chart!  There is also helpful information about getting started, the benefits of baby sign language, and more.
