I know I’ve told you about my love of coconut oil before, so you can imagine how pleased I was with the opportunity to receive a sample of from Tropical Traditions!
I’ve tried several different brands, and it is my favorite! I think the taste is much “smoother” and I definitely prefer it for baking (you can check out my Pumpkin Zucchini Bread) and chocolate-making. I also use it on popcorn, to fry eggs, and even as a moisturizer for my skin (don’t worry — I have a separate container for that)!
They offer tons of special offers and promotions each month, so it is definitely worth it to sign-up for their newsletter. I especially love when they offer free shipping!!
To sign up:
1. Visit the Tropical Traditions site.
2. Click the “Subscribe” Button in the top menu bar! Easy!
Also, the first time you make a purchase at Tropical Traditions, you’ll receive a free eBook about the benefits of Coconut Oil!
I’m excited to announce that Tropical Traditions is allowing me to give away 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!
Here is a little more info about them:
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil? You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:
Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online.
Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

I have just started using coconut oil a few months ago, and LOVE it. Before I tried it for cooking, I was a bit wary and thought it might make everything taste like coconut, but it doesn’t. I love to saute veggies in it – the coating is so smooth and light tasting. I also use it for my face & body moisturizer.

Woohoo! I use coconut oil for everything! Cooking, skin, *lubricant*cough* (seriously the best or I wouldn’t bother embarrassing myself by talking about it), and I even just started using it on my baby’s bottom because I read that not only is it a moisturizer but can help fight off things like yeast and help with diaper rash.
