Life Rewind:

I had the opportunity last weekend to attend the Allume Conference for bloggers.  It was amazing, and I met so many wonderful people.  It was a great chance to relax, be inspired, and get away from everyday life for a few days…

…and then I came home to a disaster!  My husband, in-laws, and some friends had worked hard to build a wall in our house.  They weren’t quite able to get it all done, so we’re currently living in a {dusty & disheveled} construction zone.  I can’t complain though –  I’m very grateful for all the work everyone put into it.  I am ready to get things back in order though.

One of the highlights of my week was the chance to take a knitting class with my 8-year-old daughter.  She’s been knitting like crazy all week – I’m a little slower…

Finally, I just wanted to take a minute to remember all of those affected by the hurricane this week.  If you’re able, consider donating to Samaritan’s Purse or another charity helping those in need.  I’m hoping and praying all of you are okay and safe.
