It’s Day 15 of the 30 Day Fitness Challenge! Several of you are already participating, but anyone else who would like to participate is welcome to leave me a comment on this post. I’ll be glad to add you to the challenge! Don’t forget, I have a small prize to give away at the end of the challenge!
I found getting myself to exercise this week challenging — not sure if it was just the weather or what!! I really want to go outside, but the snow and cold is making it difficult!!
Here’s what I did:
Thursday, February 3: 30 Day Shred, Level 1
Friday, February 4: 2 Mile Jog
Saturday, February 5: Rest
Sunday, February 6: Rest
Monday, February 7: 2 Mile Jog
Tuesday, February 8: 30 Day Shred, Level 3 (ouch!! I’d much rather run 6 miles!!)
Wednesday, February 9: Nothing — I feel lazy and stuck in the house!

Here’s what I managed to do:
02/02 – 30 minutes of shoveling snow.
02/03 – 30 minutes of fast walking on the treadmill and 50 jumping jacks
02/04 -rest
02/05 – 1 hour shoveling snow, 30 minutes fast walking on the treadmill and 50 jumping jacks
02/06-02/08 rest, I was very tired from 02/05 lol
02/09 – back up and at it with 45 minutes of fast walking on treadmill, 50 jumping jacks and 10 pushups

Saturday – Eliptical for 15 minutes
I hope to do even better next week. I know lots of people are stuck in snow, but our weather looks great for next week, so I’ll probably try to get out walking with the kids!

It’s interval workouts; mostly strength training using body weight, dumbbells, and a few machines. There are little spurts of cardio throughout. The workouts are pretty short, 30-45 minutes usually, but pretty high intensity. I’m really enjoying it and can actually see results!
