Have you ever picked up a book and started reading it–and just couldn’t put it down?
I felt that way with Born to Deliver, and I read it in just one night! There is something so fascinating to me about other people’s lives–especially when it comes to a life completely turned upside-down by God.

Born to Deliver is the story of Kathy Brace. Her tumultuous early years were marked by several unplanned pregnancies, looking for love in all the wrong places, and unbelievable pain and heartache. I cannot even imagine walking through the situations in her life. It would’ve felt so hopeless.
And yet, as I kept reading, I found an amazing story of grace, hope, forgiveness, and peace. In spite of all the brokenness, God uses Kathy in ways she never dreamed.
If you have ever struggled or believed God couldn’t use you because of your past, Born to Deliver is definitely a book you should read. Through Kathy’s life, we ultimately see how amazing God is! He takes those messy, hard parts of our life and uses them to share His love with others.
Here’s a little more about Born to Deliver:
In this riveting story of one woman’s struggle to find love, acceptance, and significance, hope springs forth in the most unexpected places. Our prayer is that readers of all ages will see themselves in the pages of this story, but even more that they will see the truth, goodness, and beauty of God as He works to bring about His purposes in every life. In the end, we hope that your heart will join with us and the psalmist in proclaiming:
I shall not die, but I shall live,
and recount the deeds of the LORD.
The LORD has disciplined me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the LORD.
Psalm 118:17-19 (ESV)

I really love reading about other people’s faith journeys–and I can’t even fathom the events she’s gone through in her life.
This is a great book just from the first chapter I read and all she has to go through, can’t wait to finish it.
