For those of you that know a little of my story, you know that I struggled with postpartum depression. Lately, I’ve been having some similar feelings and just really not feeling well — I just haven’t been myself. Thankfully, I was able to get some help last week for my out-of-whack hormone levels and I’ve been feeling better!
With that said, I did end up taking a week off from Insanity. It was just wearing me down too much last week — I didn’t have the energy to pour into it. I ended up adding several unexpected things to my to-do list, so I let it slide! Sometimes, you just have to do that (but not for too long if you want to keep up your fitness level)!
Here’s a look at how last week went:
Mothering/Discipleship/School:
Work on table manners!!
Complete activities for our Gingerbread Unit.
Make sure my oldest daughter practices piano and math facts every day (I’ve been slacking in training her to be disciplined in these areas)!
Finish Ginger Plowman’s Don’t Make Me Count to Three.
Homemaking, Ministry & Personal:
Finish [easyazon-link asin=”B002QZ1RS6″]INSANITY[/easyazon-link] Week 4

(3/4 of the way done.  Plus, it inspired me to start decluttering again before we add more stuff at Christmas.)
Clean off my desk (it’s piled!!) and plan post ideas for the next few weeks.
This week’s goals:

Seriously, Stacey, how in the world do you do it all? I so wish I had your drive and energy! God bless you and your beautiful family this christmas! May you feel the peace of our beautiful savior and see His love everywhere you turn. Blessings, Michelle
Ha, Michelle! You do have a lot of drive and energy…I just think about all of the ways you’re involved in church and taking care of your son. I think when we’re in our “sweet” spot — doing things we love and have been called to do, God really multiplies our time (for His glory)! And I’ve just had to learn to say no to some things, so I can say yes to other things. But if you’ve followed my lists, you’ll realize I don’t always get everything done. But it’s okay. I just like to make goals for myself and stay accountable! 🙂
