Number Rhymes (Printable)
I’m so excited about these adorable printable number rhymes!
About 10 years ago, a teacher-friend sent me an email with the numbers 1-9 and a special poem to go with them. I loved them…and still use them to teach my girls how to form numbers correctly. Anyway, I conned politely asked my talented sister if she would make up some printables for me. They turned out so adorable, I wanted to share them with you!
You can print them here. If you would like to hear the rhymes in conjunction with the writing, please see our video!
(Make sure when you print you pick “None” for the scaling option. I had some trouble with the spacing and that turned out to be the problem.)

Thank you so much! This is going to be so helpful for some friends that have a Christian school in a foreign country. Some of the children there are have developmental issues and have been having a real problem learning their numbers. Thanks again!

I was looking for these rhymes, or ones like them a few weeks ago. Unfortunately every printable I’ve found for teaching and tracing numbers (including yours) chooses a font with seriphs, so I have felt somewhat stymied, since they don’t match the instructions. I’ve found that I prefer to leave out tracing rather than explain not using the seriphs to my very perfectionistic 4-year-old who will color in every seriph diligently when coloring or filling in or copying.

Thank you when my now teens were in k they had learned their numbers by using these rhymes. Now that I have a 3 yr I was wishing I could find these rhymes again since I haven’t decided if I am going to hs or send to ps for a couple of yrs. trying to get as prepared as possible.
