I’m stuck. And it’s my fault.
I only got in two (yes, count ’em) TWO exercise sessions last week. I did stick with my Practical Paleo eating plan, so that was okay. I’m just not losing anything. I know it’s not all about weight, because I am feeling healthier and generally well.
But still.
I want to fit my pants. Is that too much to ask?!! 😉
Anyway, because of my failure to progress, I made the decision to start a Whole30 today (if you aren’t familiar, Whole30 is a super-clean Paleo way of eating – no cheating – for 30 days)!! There really won’t be too much difference in how I’m eating already, but I will be cutting out all sweeteners (I’ve been using stevia for my coffee and honey for a few “treats” I’ve made for the girls) and no “paleo-fied” treats!
I’ve gotten into a bad habit. Because my girls are also doing a modified Paleo, I start to feel guilty that they don’t get to have treats. Then, I look for ways to “Paleo-fy” things like pancakes (which I have to admit were pretty tasty)! For them, it’s fine; but I just need to not eat those things right now.
Anyway, I’ll be traveling to a conference this week, so I’m not sure exactly how all the eating and exercising will play-out. I just know I’m determined!!
The Goals:
1) Lose 10 pounds.
Lost 3.5 pounds since I started.
2) Work-out 4-5 times per week.
Only got in two P90X2 work-outs for the week!!
3) Follow a Paleo-type diet and utilize Practical Paleo to guide me in it.
Completed!!

Hey–sorry you aren’t progressing as quickly as you’d like–thinking of you! Also, if you average out your exercise w/last week, then you haven’t done so bad! Plus, you exercised way more than me!
