I’ve looked through the site myself and even made a few of the meals. I was impressed by the variety of foods AND the fact that there were so many “whole”, healthy, and seasonal ingredients. We eat a very simple menu around here, and every once in a while I feel the need to try some new ideas! I was able to do that with Mealr! Your subscription comes with a weekly schedule with five meals (you pick from 2-3 servings or 4-6 servings), a complete shopping list, and complete recipes. The cost of the service is just $7 per month ($1.60 per week), and you can cancel at any time.
My one reservation was that the meal prices were quite a bit more than I normally spend (around $70 for five 4-6 serving dinners — although the portion sizes are generous and we would probably have leftovers). With that said, I can see this being a definite help for those of you who don’t know where to begin with meal planning or you have a very busy schedule and want something already planned for you. Plus, if you’d like to save more, you can also use coupons and make stockpile substitutions for side dishes, etc.

If you’d like to see what the weekly menu plan looks like, you can even head over to the Mealr.net blog and find a free menu plan from last week!
