
I wanted to give you an update on P90X…
We’re about 1/2 way through the 13 weeks. I convinced my husband to do it with me…and he has been a lifesaver! I don’t think I could’ve made it this far without his encouragement and support.
It’s tiring.
Even after six and a half weeks, I still feel like Jell-o at the end of a work-out!! I am amazed though, because I can lift way more weight and do plyometrics without stopping!!
I wish I could tell you I’ve lost tons of weight, but the truth is that I’ve just lost two pounds!!!
But…
I have been keeping track of inches, and I’ve lost two inches from my waist, and one inch from my arms and legs (nothing from the hips!!).
So, I’m okay with the lack of weight loss. I know I am definitely gaining muscle.
Plus, my back feels better than it has in seven years! The yoga and core work are making a lot of difference — I highly recommend those work-outs.
I’m looking forward to the next six weeks. I hope to incorporate a little more running in with the work-outs. I think it will definitely help my slow times!!

I’m not doing very well updating it, so I’m going to try something that is already in place. There is a really great network called Daily Mile (www.dailymile.com). You can use your Facebook log-in to access it, and it’s a social network like Facebook, but it’s targeted to exercise.
You record your work-outs daily, so it’s like on online fitness journal. There is also the ability to add friends and encourage each other. If you’re interested, send me a friend request…and we can get fit (or stay fit) together!!
