I’m not much of a country music listener, but when I saw the news that Logan Mize (his wife is a friend of mine and they are good friends with several of my family members) had a song go crazy on the iTunes country chart, I wanted to share it with you.

Last Friday, the song “Ain’t Always Pretty” was played by Bobby Bones (yeah…I had no idea who he was before this, so you can really tell I don’t listen to country music much), and it started climbing the charts.  Since Logan isn’t currently signed with anyone, that is a pretty big feat.  It’s competing with well-known artists, but it’s not really a surprise to me…it just has that country hit sound to it!

Anyway, Logan and his wife, Jill, (and their two cute kiddos) have been in Nashville for many, many years pursuing music, and I’m so happy they are getting this break.  I’d like to help them keep the momentum going, so if you are a country music fan and like the song, consider purchasing it on iTunes or Google Play!
