Bad news if you like to shop Amazon and aren’t a Prime Member. They just recently changed the free Super Saver shipping policy. The free shipping minimum used to be $35, but it is now changed to $49, so if you aren’t a Prime member, you’ll need to hit the $49 mark in order to get free shipping.
Remember when it used to be $25?!!
Thankfully, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you’ll still receive free 2-day shipping. I’ve been a Prime fan for quite a while and utilize most of the benefits:
- Free 2-day shipping
- eBook check-out each month
- Early access to Lightning Deals
- Free Prime Music Streaming
- Free Photo Storage
- Free Prime Video and TV Streaming
- Free Access to select new eBook titles each month
I’m interested to see if this will backfire and cause more people will start shopping sites with lower shipping minimums. Of course, if you do want to try Prime, you can get a 30-day FREE trial to Amazon Prime.
Thanks, FTM!
