This is great word practice for your kinesthetic learners. Students will be working on beginning sounds, forming the word, spelling the word and writing each word multiple times.

Print out the included board and either laminate it or place it in a write and wipe pocket folder. There are 16 different Thanksgiving words included. Instead of the card having the word on it, there are pictures of each letter’s beginning sound. Students will determine the beginning sounds and put them all together to form the word.

After determining the letters in the word, students will use letter beads and pipe cleaner to bead the word. (You can use any kind of letter beads for this.)

Students will then type the word on the ipad then write it on the ipad with a dry erase marker for a total of 3 times.
