
It’s almost my youngest daughter’s 14th birthday…and I was just thinking back to her birthday two years ago. It was during her party that we got the word schools in our area were closing down and our whole life changed because of Covid-19.
There have been a lot of stressful moments since that time, but I’ve also learned so much about how to manage and handle my stress. The things happening around me and outside of me…well, I can’t always change that.
But I have been working on my own resiliency and increasing my capability to handle stressful events. I’ve read a couple of books (my favorite so far is Try Softer by Aundi Kolber), but I’m also looking forward to learning more from my friend Katie (from Kitchen Stewardship) and her Stress Mastery training. She has a free Stress Busting Challenge for Busy Moms March 27-31, and it includes a Facebook group community for support and prizes for participating.
