Several months ago, I picked up a Dave Ramsey Money Education pack that includes:

  • The Total Money Makeover book and workbook
  • 2 DVD Lessons from Financial Peace University
  • The Money Answer Book
  • Starter Envelope System
  • Dave’s Budgeting Software

It’s an excellent bundle.  Dave Ramsey is inspiring…but also tough!  He won’t let you make excuses for your financial situation.  He WILL give you basic principles and tools for getting out of debt and managing your finances well.

    I would strongly encourage those who posted about their financial situations to go online and checkout the FPU classes in their area. I had lost my job which was 55% of our income. We were wondering how would we make it when we heard about Dave Ramsey. You will easily make back the money you pay for the classes when you apply the lessons taught. Plus mtg each week really is an encouragement to keep at it & not to give up. The classes were great and I could hardly wait for the next week to go back! It got me excited about my finances and I didn’t think that was even possible. Things are still tough but it would have been so much worse had we not taken the class. Id like to win to give it to a friend who needs it. I’m also interested in the budgeting software.

    I love Dave Ramsey and have listened to his books before. I NEED to get my families financial issues in order. That is our biggest stress at this moment and I am a stay at home mom that substitute teaches, and I have two home based businesses that I am trying to run and get off the ground.
