I love to find new and frugal recipes, so I was excited when Tawra from Living on a Dime contacted me to do a giveaway of her Dining on a Dime Cookbook!  Filled with all kinds of recipes (including a hot chocolate recipe I’ve made over and over again!), it actually is much more than a cookbook.

The book has a large section on the “Basics of Frugal Cooking”, plus sections with recipes, substitutions and equivalents, gift baskets & jars, kids, beauty product recipes, and cleaning.

I have two favorite sections — the “Mixes, Gift Baskets, and Jars” and “Cleaning Cents”.  These are excellent ideas for frugal gifts you can make and give to those you love.  Plus, the cleaning section is filled with practical advice — as well as simple and effective recipes for your own cleaning products.
