RiceSelect Jasmati Rice Review (Yum!!) + GIVEAWAY TIME

I recently had the opportunity to sample Rice Select Jasmati Rice.  May I just say,  it was delicious!  I served my Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore over the top, and the girls ate it up like crazy!  They usually prefer spaghetti noodles, but I like to serve it with rice.  I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a hit!

Now, I am not a huge rice connoisseur, but the texture and flavor of this rice was a bit tastier than the usual (read:  cheap) brands of rice I buy.  If I can find a good coupon (sometimes they have them over at Mambo Sprouts) and a good sale, I’d definitely splurge for the light, fluffiness of this rice!

I learned several new things about the Rice Select from their website.  One is that their Jasmati rice is grown in the US and is produced from non-GMO seed.  All Rice Select products are packaged in BPA-Free containers and are certified Kosher.  Plus, you can find all kinds of recipes on the Rice Select website!

Through November, you can purchase a RiceSelect Texmati jar (with the pink lid & label), and they will be donating $50,000 to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation.

    We love rice at our house. My favorite is steamed white rice, but we primarily make brown rice. Jasmine rice is SOO yummy but I think I have only made it once, mostly have only eaten at restaurants.

    I personally prefer the brown rice, but my husband likes the white. So, depending on what I am cooking I can sometimes sneak in the brown and he doesn’t know the difference! 😉
