Life Rewind:
You know those weeks where you start out with an awesome plan and great intention…and then everything just sort of crumbles at once? Well, that was our week! I started off by heading to Kansas City and watching my 3-month-old nephew while my sister took photos at a wedding. I quickly realized I’m not in “baby shape”! It takes an enormous amount of energy and patience–especially since the poor little guy had a cold and cough. 🙁
We headed back home and I found I had three girls in varying stages of illness. Colds and coughs continued to plague them all week. I worked furiously to finish taxes by Tuesday, we had CC on Thursday, and then my most-hated illness of all hit. The stomach bug. The 9-year-old started vomiting on Thursday night. Friday night, the five year old started. Last night, the momma was hit. Just two more people in the family to go…and hopefully this round of sickness will be done. I’m tired!!
By the way, I do apologize for not getting the winners for The Son of God movie picked until today. You can see, it’s been a rough few days.

Oh Stacie… That was my sort of weekend at home! My three kids for stomach viruses (needles to mention all the laundry and cleaning I did..) and husband and I got bad colds. But God has equipped us moms to withstand all these “rough days”. God willing you all get better!
Thanks so much, Maritza! My middle daughter was hit on Sunday night, but so far, the hubs hasn’t gotten it! I’m just still trying to rest up and feel recovered. Hope you are feeling better, too!
