Life Rewind:
*School* has begun for us, and it’s already crazy! I was hoping to settle down into a routine last Monday–and the routine lasted for two days before we ended up helping out my grandma on Wednesday. She’s 84 now and needed some help canning her green beans, so we spent the day with her. You can actually learn quite a bit by canning green beans–science, math, connecting with grandma, food preservation skills, diligence, perseverance (after the third big basket of beans, we needed that)! Thursday brought our first Classical Conversations morning, and Friday was spent with a friend whose job is taking her to live in Jerusalem! Today, we celebrated my husband’s birthday, and tomorrow we attend a party for an AWANA kick-off. Maybe Monday we’ll settle back into a routine…

On a more somber note, I would so appreciate your prayers for the orphanage we are helping out with sales from God’s Little Explorers. I just received word that they are having a difficult time right now, and it has my heart burdened. It is a clash of good and evil–and right now, evil appears to have the upper hand. I know Christine’s heart for the home and the girls, and I know there is a battle. If you could specifically remember them over the next week, I would be so grateful!
