Our Life:
On Monday, I noticed on our swim club team’s website that my middle daughter (she’s 5) was going to be swimming a 50m race on Tuesday at a swim meet. I’ll be honest — I almost got sick! I wasn’t prepared for that. Silly I know…especially since it is SWIM club!
Honestly, I put her in swim club not expecting her to actually make it across the pool this year. It was more for the one-on-one swim lessons and the opportunity to hang-out with some other kiddos. Imagine my surprise when she made it all the way across the pool at the meet!! I was absolutely terrified.
It was a good reminder that my little ones can often achieve much more than I expect…
