I’m working on numbers 1-20 with my daughter, and I thought this would be a fun busy bag for Christmas!

Christmas Tree Count Busy Bag

Supplies:

• Printable Christmas Trees and Stars
• Cardstock (or to make them more durable use felt or fun foam)
• Scissors
• Buttons, beads, felt scrap “ornaments”, or other small embellishments

1)  Print out ten copies of the Christmas trees (page 1)–preferably on cardstock.  If you are going to make your trees from fun foam or felt, just print one copy to use as a pattern.  Cut out the trees and laminate if desired.

2)  Print out the star sheet (page 2) on white or yellow cardstock.  Cut out.

To use:

Ask your child to place a star at the top of each tree.  Have them “decorate” the tree with the number of buttons, beads, felt scraps, etc. corresponding to the star.

Store all items in a large plastic baggie.
