Here in Australia we are just about to start our school year so this could not have come at a better time. This is going to be my second year of home schooling our 3 children. Yes, we all survived our first whole year of home school 😉 With the kids going into year 8, 6 & 4 it was difficult to start in the middle of what we had always known school to be (in the public schools) but we are so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow together. This whole home school thing is still ‘new’ to me and the kids but we are loving it. Any help at all is awesome!!

This year is going MUCH better than last year (our first year)
I worry my behavioral special needs son is doing enough work. We do so much unschooling with picture documentation but I am not sure that is “good enough” under state scrutiny. But he IS learning and that is truly what is important.

Hi! Thanks for the chance to win this giveaway! It looks great. I would love to here the talk on manners, as we are having some difficulty with our 5-year-old in this area. She is also a very intense child, so that talk would be wonderful as well (although they all look great). Our year so far has been going well, with the occasional ups and downs. As one other commenter stated, it is always great to hear homeschooling advice!

I am a first time home schooling mom, and have decided this may be the best and worst part of mother hood. I love it and hate it at the same time! Best part of school was the day my son, who was told in public school that he had a learning disability and would need to go to special classes, he is reading! Worst part is trying to stay organized with the preschooler and toddler. I am so blessed to have this experience and I pray that I can continue with the Lord’s blessing. I will take the crazy as long as I’m in the will of the Lord.
I’d love some perspective beyond my little homeschool world. I have a 3rd grader and two toddlers. Every day has its challenges and successes. I constantly strive for new ideas to practice. Finding the balance is hard. The more I know to try the better equipped I am to make each day a success. Thanks for the chance to learn more!

I am having trouble with trying to keep my 2 yr old busy with educational fun things while homeschooling a kindergarten and still keep up on housework.
