I’ve been getting a few emails about God’s Little Explorers and what the suggested upcoming schedule is for the year. You may remember a long time ago (if you were a subscriber at that point), I launched a free weekly preschool curriculum called God’s Little Explorers. I wrote the lesson plans each week and shared them with you so that you could use them if you would like.
What has happened since that time has been nothing short of amazing. So far, thousands of you have the curriculum and are using it in some way, shape, or form. It’s been such a huge blessing (and the orphanage is completed…and we are supporting some other ministries this year, too)!!
Anyway, today I wanted to share a weekly schedule you may want to use if you will be going through the curriculum. Please note I said MAY. Every family is different and unique–your schedule is not the same as mine, and I don’t expect anyone to use the exact same schedule.
Here is my proposed schedule for 2025-2026. Please note that I have included a longer Christmas break this year. Due to how the dates fell, I needed to move the weeks for Valentine’s Day and Easter.

Hi there, I have recently been convicted by the Lord to start being intentional in parenting my son, Ezekiel. I have found your page and am very interested in starting with your curriculum. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Could you give me advice on where to start with Christmas approaching. Also do i need to purchase the whats in the bible videos and all that you have linked? or is there a more cost effective way around those? Thank you in advance!
Hi, Jessica, I wouldn’t worry about getting the videos! They are just an add-on. Really, you can just pick and choose the activities you like. I wouldn’t stress too much about it. Just make it fun and make some memories together! You could go ahead and start in the middle if you wanted to. I would probably go ahead and do the first week of the curriculum so you can make the map and everything, but you could skip to the middle and then just do the earlier Bible stories in the late spring/early summer.
