After my half-marathon a few weekends ago, I’ve been kind of bummed! I realized this weekend that I need to set a new goal, because I’ve only run once since then. Also, I tried on some pants and weighed myself. Not. So. Happy.
Anyway, I’m starting a new 30-Day Fitness Challenge. It starts today and runs through June 14, 2012!
Here are my goals:
1) Lose 5 lb. in the next 30 days.
2) Exercise 5 days a week with Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred.
3) Implement the Perfect 10 Diet: 10 Key Hormones That Hold the Secret to Losing Weight and Feeling Great Fast (I downloaded this free sometime last year, but just recently ran across it again). It was really fascinating…so much of the advice goes against the norm and against what I’ve been taught. I’m really interested to see if it makes a difference!
I’ve also been struggling with hormone levels again — I’m getting them checked tomorrow, but I really want to make an effort to clean up my diet and see if it helps. It’s not completely been terrible, but I’ve been drinking too much coffee and eating too many sweets!
