
Last week was a bit more challenging with family visiting, a birthday party, and our college homecoming. I was able to stick with my Practical Paleo eating plan – though I did make some grain-free cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. It was probably a little more sugar (even though it was maple syrup) than I should’ve had! I didn’t have any weight-loss, but I did check off all my exercise boxes this week!
Here’s a quick run-down of my progress:
The Goals:
1) Lose 10 pounds.
Lost 3.5 pounds since I started. I didn’t lose anything this week, so I’m adding a new goal of not eating after 8 PM.
2) Work-out 4-5 times per week.
John and I made it through the full five work-outs fromfor P90X2 for the week!! These final few weeks with the PAP work-outs are TOUGH!! If you need a challenging work-out, this definitely fits the bill!
3) Follow a Paleo-type diet and utilize Practical Paleo to guide me in it.
I did this pretty well with this. My coffee consumption is down to just 12 ounces per day, but I’ll keep that on my list of goals. It hasn’t been easy and it isn’t quite a habit yet, so I need to continue to be accountable for that!
