Ha…it’s been two weeks since I posted my goals, and it’s taken me two weeks to finish them! Because the redesign and migration of my blogs occurred this weekend, I’m pretty worn-out! I’ve decided to lay a little low this week, so I don’t overwhelm myself!
Here’s a look back at the goals from two weeks ago:
Mothering/Discipleship/School:
Finish [easyazon-link asin=”1576581535″]David Livingstone: Africa’s Trailblazer[/easyazon-link]. Begin [easyazon-link asin=”1576580180″]Amy Carmichael: Rescuer of Precious Gems[/easyazon-link].
Pick a poet and poetry book to add to our February studies.
Create three winter-themed crafts/activities.
Homemaking, Ministry & Personal:
Finish the last week of [easyazon-link asin=”B002QZ1RS6″]INSANITY[/easyazon-link] — Finally!!
Finish reading [easyazon-link asin=”0784721106″]From Clutter to Clarity: Simplifying Life from the Inside Out[/easyazon-link]. Read [easyazon-link asin=”006179113X”]The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: Book II: The Hidden Gallery[/easyazon-link]. I previewed the first one as a read aloud (and decided not to read it to my oldest yet), but I want to find out what happens!
Finish filling out the paperwork for our will.
Volunteer at our local Habitat for Humanity Soup Supper fundraiser.
Blogging/Work:
Finish writing a guest post for another blog.
Spend one afternoon working on the upcoming blog redesign.
Clean up the computer and back-up all files.
This week’s goals:
Mothering/Discipleship/School:
Continue reading [easyazon-link asin=”1576580180″]Amy Carmichael: Rescuer of Precious Gems[/easyazon-link].
Be more disciplined in starting school “on time”, so we don’t have to spend as much time in the afternoon.
Homemaking, Ministry & Personal:
Start training for a 1/2 marathon.
Read Still Alice and start Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover.
Blogging/Work:
Finish writing a guest post for another blog.
Finish the Kids section (I still have pages to add and some posts to reformat)
Make a “blog tour” video.
Feel free to share your goals in the comments or over on Facebook!

hmm. I’m reading this on Thursday and feel like I’ve accomplished little this week. I think my goal for tomorrow will be to revisit my projects list and print out a clean copy with the finished items deleted and the leftover items broken into baby steps. I do love hitting a lull in my day and being able to look at my project list to see what thing I can check off in 30 minutes or less, and possibly with a kid or two helping me do it. My kids enjoyed drilling and using the screwdriver last month…hammering and painting will be on the agenda soon. (we’re slowly building a kitchen booth)
