Except for the random illnesses of the past week, things went pretty well and I accomplished most of what I planned. One of the highlights for me was finally sorting (and decluttering) my old t-shirts from high school and church activities. It was more time-consuming than I planned (I didn’t quite realize there were that many!), but they are now at a friend’s house waiting to be sewn into a t-shirt quilt! I attempted to make one once, and it wasn’t so great. I decided to let an expert do it this time!
Here’s a look back at last week’s goals:
Mothering/Discipleship/School:
Finish [easyazon-link asin=”1440480265″]Anne Of Avonlea[/easyazon-link] and read 5 chapters from [easyazon-link asin=”1576581535″]David Livingstone: Africa’s Trailblazer[/easyazon-link].
Declutter, file schoolwork, and reorganize the school room.
Pick out songs or poems, and help the girls practice for a talent show next weekend!
Homemaking, Ministry & Personal:
Finish [easyazon-link asin=”B002QZ1RS6″]INSANITY[/easyazon-link] Week 8

Sort through my piles of old t-shirts and pick my favorites for a t-shirt quilt.
Find a 5K race to run with my 7-year-old. Devise a training schedule for her. (This is her goal — I told her I would help her!) I set up her schedule with help from this 5K Training for Kids post. I changed a few things and added a couple of weeks since the race isn’t until May. If you use Google calendar and would like to see our schedule, you can access the schedule I devised here (Right-click and copy the link location. Add it to your calendar via the “Other Calendars: Add by URL” option.

I’m still working away at my 2011 Projects to Finish list! I’ve given myself this month to finish them and am so glad at how different my kitchen looks now! Putting my spare time effort all towards one room has really made a difference. The trick for me is to stop adding things to this list and finish even the harder things that are on there…if you want me to read thru your guest post for the other blog, skype it to me, I’m happy to help.
Eat that Frog! It’s a book on my to-read list about time management. It says to do the thing you don’t want to do first thing in the morning and get it out of the way. I’m working on that… 🙂
