I’m running a little behind! I have a few more flower ideas and activities for this week, but I thought I’d start with a May Day basket! The girls love to sneak up to a neighbor’s house, leave a basket of flowers, ring the doorbell, and then run and hide!
May Day Baskets
Supplies:
- Paper plates
- Paint
- Sponges
- Glue
1) Cut a half-circle out of two paper plates. Sponge paint the back of each plate.
2) Glue the edges of the paper plate fronts together. I used a glue gun, but you could use school glue and clip the edges together with clothespins until it dries.
3) Fill with flowers and surprise someone special!
I have a feeling (knowing my three girls) these will become “purses” after we take the flowers out!
