Life Rewind:
It was kinda one of those weeks that I’m glad is over. You can read my Made to Crave post to find out a little more, but my best friend’s mom was given some terrible news about her cancer and we finally had to let our little dog, Scooter, go. He was really in pain and it was hard to watch. It’s been challenging to help the girls understand death and our little hearts have been sad many times over the past few days. It’s hard to believe he’s gone after almost 12 years…it seems so much quieter around here.
Thursday and Friday were whirlwind days as I headed on a 4-hour road trip with the girls to check out a pick-up truck we thought we wanted to get for John (since we had finally saved enough after 7 years!!). I was planning on making it a quick trip, but we ended up staying the night with some friends–which turned out to be a good thing since the weather was icky on Thursday. I’m looking forward to sharing the whole story with you soon, because God’s timing wasn’t our own–but it turned out to be for the best!
