Life Rewind
I thank you so much for your patience with me this week! I traveled to the Teach Them Diligently Conference in Omaha on Thursday, and I’ve had intermittent internet service since then–I’ve missed posting quite so much, but I’ve kind of enjoyed it, too!
The girls and I had a really fun opportunity to run into Pam Tebow in the elevator of our hotel, and then we got to meet her at the conference, too! It was such an amazing conference. I cannot even tell you how refreshed and excited I am about parenting and homeschooling again. It’s so easy to become discouraged, I think, but it is such a blessing to hear speakers and talk to others who are right in the trenches with you. It makes me realize I’m not alone on this journey!
In the midst of all of this encouragement and refreshment, I found out that my best friend’s mom had passed away. I would so appreciate your prayers for my friend as she and her family walk the hard path of grieving and loss. We cling to hope and know that she is released from all pain, but it doesn’t change the difficulty of living the here and now without someone you love so much.
On a side note, I released God’s Little Explorers this week, and the response has already been wonderful. I thank you so much for sharing, pinning, and tweeting about it (and feel free to share more)!! My hope is that we can work together and fund a good amount for the orphanage–I’ll share how much you all have raised when the sale ends next week! Your willingness and generosity has blessed me immensely! Each day I check the total and just feel amazed by what God is doing!
