Heart Chain Valentine Craft for Kids
Supplies:
- Red paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Gel pen
1) Fold the paper in half. Fold it in half again and again. Unfold and make accordion-style or fan folds.
2) Freehand a half-shape heart on the paper. Be sure that the edges remain intact so that it won’t fall apart. Cut out the heart. Trace the heart on the remaining paper. We were able to fit three hearts down the paper.
3) Unfold the paper chains. Connect them together with tape. On each heart, write down a way to show love to others.
Hang your paper chain somewhere you can see it during this month!
My grandson and I just made the connected hearts. He was so thrilled. He had tried many times before to do this and couldn’t. Thanks for the simple directions. We have had fun making them.
