Nothing like waiting until the last minute to make Mother’s Day cards…
I’m interrupting our zoo theme to bring you a quick idea for Mother’s Day! I was inspired by this card over at Serving Pink Lemonade, so I adapted it to what we had — and let the girls have free reign! They each made a completely different variation!
Supplies:
- Cardstock
- Paint
- Toothpick
1) Press finger into paint and use fingerprint to make a “flower” shape.
2) Use a toothpick (or a thin paintbrush) dipped in green paint to add stems and leaves.
Each is a unique creation!
What are you talking about? This isn't last minute! Around our house, "last minute" typically means either the day-of or the hour before. 🙂
Ha, ha! It's last minute because I have to get two of them in the mail…hopefully, they will make it in time!!
I would love to know what type of paint you used on these Mother’s Day cards…the colors are so bright and vibrant against the black paper! Beautiful!
They are actually just acrylic paints that I had on hand!
OK, thanks! 🙂
