We did this last week for our God’s Little Explorer lesson, but I thought it deserved its’ own post since we had such a great time with it!

Starry Night Pretend Play Box
Supplies:
- Large box
- Scissors or knife
- Strand of Christmas-type lights

1) Poke holes in the top of your box with a knife or scissors (I think it goes without saying, but this is not a part for kids to do)! If you get really creative, you could even make various constellations!
Poke the lights into the holes you’ve made.

2) Turn out the lights and enjoy the view!

3) Spend time playing in the box!
I couldn’t quite capture it without a flash since it was pretty dark, but this was really neat in the dark. It kept their attention for quite some time. Please supervise at all times the lights are plugged in!
