“We get 18 delicious summers with our children. This is one of your 18. If that’s not perspective, I don’t know what is.” Jessica Scott
Things went by the wayside last week as I had my best friend from high school and her family visiting (we only get to see them every few years since they live in another country)! We were so happy to have them, and, sometimes, you just have to let things go and enjoy the moment!
Anyway, I did post a video last week…and wanted to let you know about it.
In it, I talk about three things I’m doing to simplify our summer this year. It’s easy for the summer to slip by (it’s almost July!!), so I wanted to be intentional about making the most of it. I only have a few summers left with my daughters, and while not every moment has to be meaningful, I do want to have a simple enough summer that we have time to enjoy the important things!
If you can’t see the video, you can check it out here—–> https://youtu.be/cOg2Wmib40M
Would you rather listen to it as a podcast or read the transcript about three ways we are simplifying summer? You can find that here on Amazing Mess!
