My almost two-year-old niece came over last week, and I wanted to have a few things on hand for her to play with. She loves the LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set that the girls have and can play with it for a long time, but I wanted something portable she could use upstairs or downstairs. This is so easy to make, but it kept her picking and up and dumping out for quite some time! Plus, it reuses a baby wipes container (and you know how I love to recycle objects)! You can also see how I use baby wipes containers for storage.
Toddler Busy Bag: Pom Pom Stuff-It Box

Supplies:
- Large pom poms, small pairs of socks (rolled in a ball), cotton balls, etc.
- Empty baby wipes container
1) Fill the container with pom poms.
2) Show your child how to dump out the pom poms, close the main lid, and stuff them in through the smaller hole on top.
Toddlers love dumping and stuffing, so you can really use a variety of objects! As always, be sure to supervise your child to guard against choking.
