You may have noticed something a little different about my blog today:

See that author name?  It’s not mine!

I want to take a moment to introduce you to a friend of mine named Mandie.

Earlier this month, I set a goal for myself to only blog 25 hours per week.  I want to honor my husband and my family, spend plenty of time with them, and not get so sucked into sharing deals and my life through blog posts that I miss out on what’s truly important.  I believe one of my top priorities is to be the best wife to John and mom to my three girls that I can be (with God’s grace, of course)!

I haven’t yet felt like I need to give up blogging, but I’ve been praying about how I can multiply and make the best use of my time.

Mandie is an answer to those prayers.

Several years ago, when I first found out what a blog was and started following a few, I ran across Mandie’s coupon blog.  She later discontinued writing there, but she was part of the inspiration for me starting this blog!

We’ve stayed in touch on Facebook, and as I mentioned above, I was praying for some guidance and direction on what to do.  That’s when Mandie came to mind!

I emailed her…she said okay…and we’re now giving it a trial run.  Mandie will be posting a few deals each day during the week, and we’re both really excited about it.  It’s a win-win for both of us!
