Last Minute Mother’s Day Card: Fingerprint Flower

Nothing like waiting until the last minute to make Mother’s Day cards…

I’m interrupting our zoo theme to bring you a quick idea for Mother’s Day!  I was inspired by this card over at Serving Pink Lemonade, so I adapted it to what we had — and let the girls have free reign!  They each made a completely different variation!

Supplies:

  • Cardstock
  • Paint
  • Toothpick

1)  Press finger into paint and use fingerprint to make a “flower” shape.

2)  Use a toothpick (or a thin paintbrush) dipped in green paint to add stems and leaves.

Each is a unique creation!

What are you talking about? This isn't last minute! Around our house, "last minute" typically means either the day-of or the hour before. :)

  2. Stacie says:

Ha, ha! It's last minute because I have to get two of them in the mail…hopefully, they will make it in time!!

  3. I would love to know what type of paint you used on these Mother’s Day cards…the colors are so bright and vibrant against the black paper! Beautiful!
