Life Rewind:
I celebrated my birthday this week, and instead of running a half-marathon (like last year), I ran my first 5k! I’ve run 5 mile races and 13 mile races, but never a 3.1 mile race–which is kind of weird I think. I guess I just like the challenge of a longer race (plus, I’m slow so I hate short races)!
It was in memory of a dear friend of ours, and my husband, oldest daughter, and I ran. I ran with the eight-year-old, so it was a little slower, but she made it all the way. And really, it won’t be too long before she can outrun me easily!
