LIFE REWIND:

Last weekend, we had the chance to pick apples at my aunt’s house.  We picked a ton and spent much of this week peeling, slicing, and freezing apples (we have apple pie filling, apple sauce, baked apple oatmeal, no-bake apple cookies, and apple crisp filling in the freezer)!  We still have two more bags to go….but I’m a little tired of looking at apples!  I’m trying to get a few posts with recipes ready to share with you!

My husband is coaching the soccer team my two younger girls are on, and they had their first soccer game on Saturday.  It was a lot of fun to see them all together (even though my four-year-old can’t seem to stay standing on the field — somehow she’s always falling down — at least she hasn’t done a somersault….yet)!!

I just never really thought I’d be a *soccer mom*….but here I am.   🙂
