Here is simple sun theme busy bag to celebrate the arrival of a sunny day…

Sun Theme Busy Bag or Learning Center Activity

Supplies:

• Paper plate
• Yellow marker
• Clothespins
• Permanent marker

1)  Color the back side of a paper plate yellow.  Color the tops of the clothespins yellow as well.

2)  Write all 26 letters (lowercase) on individual clothespins.

3)  Have your child clip the clothespins in ABC order around the paper plate to make a sun.

Variations:

• Write numbers instead of letters and have your child put them in numerical order.
• Write capital letters around the paper plate and have your child clip the corresponding lowercase letter on it.
