Can you believe we are almost to May…and I’m almost to my birthday?!! They creep up faster and faster it seems….

I got to spend some time with my best friend this week–not necessarily in the circumstances I want–but a blessing to see her nonetheless. (I’m used to seeing her every two years since she lives overseas!)

I took the two older girls to the movie theater this weekend. I just now realized that this is the first time my six-year-old has ever gone! We don’t watch movies in the theater very often, but I may have a movie junkie on my hands now! She was enamored with the experience.

The girls also took me thrift store shopping, and we had a great time. Of course, I let them talk me into a few dresses I am now regretting, but they think I look “so beautiful”…so what’s a mom to do? They’ll be good to wear around the house… 🙂
